Ford Boyd Bailey
Ford Boyd Bailey, Allied Member ASID, received an Associated Arts degree from Mount Vernon Jr. College, then went on to receive a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. She had 8 years work experience in design-related fields before going to London to study Decorative and Fine Arts at Sotheby's. In 1984 Ford started Ford Boyd Interiors, Ltd., a residential design business which evolved into a design studio combined with an interior decoration shop named Verve, which opened in 1993. Verve was featured in the 1995 January/February issue of Southern Accents, and Ford was featured in the 1999 May/June issue of Southern Accents. In March 2004 Ford's home was featured in the book, Trade Secrets, published by Meredith Corporation. Trade Secrets is now on sale in book stores and at Verve.
